Memorial Day 2011

Well Today is Memorial Day. A time of reflection, a time of mixed emotions both sadness and joy. A time when we remember those that have Fallen for this country and our Freedom's. We should Never forget those that have given the ultimate sacrifice so that both you and I can live our day to day lives. Unfortunately to many people have forgotten  what this day is really about. It's not just another day off work for an extended weekend, It's not about the barbecues and the Beer parties, It's not about the family gatherings all across the country. It is a day to REMEMBER our FALLEN! A day to show them the respect and honor they deserve in the remembrance of their sacrifice. They gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we can have our tomorrow. Today I will be laying a wreath on a memorial that was erected in honor of our Fallen! Not just about one individual but all those that have fallen in every war since the inception of this country.We as a people must Remember our Heroes both past and present. I ask that today at 11:00 am that you join me in a moment of silence to honor all those that have given their lives so that we can continue in ours. God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops.
